Director of Communications

Reporting to the V.P.- Operations & Staff, this P/R exercises delegated authority to oversee the overall planning, direction, and timely execution of communication and information operations, across the breadth of communication channels and medium available, working with PRG and NSPRHQ, and serves as POC for communications on national events.  These functions include development, assignment of goals and objectives for staff members and subordinate member organizations. Approves multiyear and longer range communications plans in support of the NSPRAA long term goals.  Evaluates the effectiveness of communications in terms of mission accomplishment, quality and quantity standards, procedural, policy and regulatory compliance, and technical competence.  Establishes a working relationship with members of the Pershing Rifle Group to advance the vision of the Pershing Family.  Apply by sending email with qualifications to nspraa@pershingriflesalumni.org

 

 

Social Media Coordinator – Reporting to the Communications Officer, this self-motivated P/R will create and maintain a strong online presence for NSPRAA, implementing online marketing strategies through social media accounts.  They will:

  • Create engaging text, image and video content for multiple social media platforms, and determine which new platforms to engage
  • Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
  • Measure web traffic and monitor SEO with PRG web teams
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Train co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way
  • Facilitate online conversations and respond to queries
  • Report on online reviews and feedback
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and engagement metrics
  • Oversee social media accounts’ layout
  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective members, like promotions and competitions

Photography & Video Team Member – Reporting to the Communications Officer, this P/R has his own camera equipment, a love for photography, and can work with members of the team to capture images and video content to assist in the deployment of updates, website and marketing materials. Marketing Intern

Reporting to the NSPRAA Marketing Director, this self-motivated intern is not required to be a member of the Pershing Rifles Military Fraternity.  They will assist the Director by:

  • Assisting with the Social media team to create and maintaini a strong online presence for Pershing Rifles, focused both internally on membership engagement, and externally for awareness.
  • Implementing online marketing strategies through social media accounts
  • Developing media for Newspapers, Magazines, and cooperative organizations with the intent of increasing awareness and finding our “lost Brothers’.
